New Life Ministries - Serving the Body of Christ There are many different ministries that you can be involved in at New Life Baptist Church.  One of the primary tasks of the church is to help believers realize their gifts and equip them for service.  Regardless of your gifts, there is somewhere that you can serve and be served.  If you would like to get involved please contact Pastor Mark.

Other Ministries

There are many other ministries to get involved in depending on your specific gifts.  Also, if you feel led to start a new ministry please feel free to contact Pastor Mark.  Here is a list of some of the other ministries at New Life (Click the icon for more information)
Audio Visual Helping run the sound system for Worship services and/or taking pictures of various ministries (video & photo) Banners & Signs Helping us to worship through the use of visual art forms; these individuals design and create banners, posters, and signs for use in special services or around the church facility Bulletin Helping design, copy, and prepare the weekly bulletins Children's Church Teaching or assisting in this ministry to children during the Sunday morning service Cookie Calls Making cookies and/or delivering cookies to people at home Deacons An elected position of service for qualified individuals Display & Bulletin Boards Helping set up a display each week to keep people informed about church services and events Drama Helping with skits, readings, or plays during the Worship services or special events Encouragement Sending cards to those who have birthdays, anniversaries, or who are sick. Sending bulletins to those who are sick or away	Greeting Greeting all those who attend services, handing out bulletins, and answering questions of those who are new to the church Hospital and Nursing Home Visitation Visiting people who are sick, lonely, in need Hospitality Making food for people with health needs and preparing meals for church events or youth activities. Providing housing for special speakers, missionaries, and ministry teams Literature Distribution Helping design or fold, stuff, and stamp literature to be sent to our mailing lists Missions Committee Assisting in the Missions outreach of the church by keeping the church informed of opportunities and needs on missions fields around the world; staying in touch with the missionaries supported by our church Nursery Caring for babies and toddlers during the church services Phone Making contact with new residents and/or follow up with individuals on our mailing lists Prayer Partnering with others in prayer for the ministries of the church and the needs of our church family	Setup Helping on Saturday or Sunday with setting up and taking down equipment Small Group Bible Studies Hosting, teaching, or assisting in evangelistic or discipleship small group Bible studies Social Committee Planning and organizing church-wide social events Special Music Playing an instrument or singing during a worship service or special event Sunday School Teaching adults, children, or teens in the church Tract Distribution Handing out tracts to people in the community Ushering Directing people where to go, helping with the offering, handing out literature, assisting with seating people Worship Team Assisting with the music ministry during the worship services Youth Group Sponsors/Leaders Helping to plan events, lead, teach or transport teens in the Youth ministry
