Operation Christmas Child

New Life Baptist Church has the privilege to participate in Operation Christmas Child. At its heart, Operation Christmas Child is about the impact of a simple gift delivered with the Good News of Jesus Christ into the hands of a boy or girl living in the midst of poverty and despair.  Every one of these boxes represents a precious child of God, many of whom have never received a gift before in their lives.  Some also have never heard the Good News of the Savior who loves them and offers them eternal life if they turn from their sins and put their trust in Him.  As Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14).

Next week is the LAST week to pick up your boxes

We have only this week and next Sunday to pick up our shoe boxes for Operation Christmas Child! They need to be returned November 5th, or you can drop them off at the wrapping/packing party on November 11th, at 1:00 pm, here at New Life Baptist Church. We like thinking of the shoe boxes as our opportunity to be missionaries.

We are able to pack these shoe boxes with love, pray for the children all over the world that receive them, and know that they will be used to introduce the Good News of Jesus Christ! It’s an awesome opportunity to be a part of the Great Commission, so please consider taking part and also donating to our Build-A-Box bin! Any questions about OCC?
