New Life Baptist Church has the privilege to participate in Operation Christmas Child. At its heart, Operation Christmas Child is about the impact of a simple gift delivered with the Good News of Jesus Christ into the hands of a boy or girl living in the midst of poverty and despair. Every one of these boxes represents a precious child of God, many of whom have never received a gift before in their lives. Some also have never heard the Good News of the Savior who loves them and offers them eternal life if they turn from their sins and put their trust in Him. As Jesus said “Let the little children come to Me, and do not forbid them; for of such is the kingdom of heaven” (Matthew 19:14).
Time to BRING BACK your shoeboxes!!
Operation Christmas Child Shoeboxes are due back Sunday, November 5th. Please put them on the tables in the foyer and the gym. They can also be dropped off at the wrapping/packing party NEXT SATURDAY, November 11th, at 1pm, here at church! Please join us for an afternoon of fellowship, music, cookies, and wrapping and packing our boxes! Let’s continue to pray for the safe delivery of our boxes as well as the children who will be receiving them, that God will be glorified and children will come to know His love and be saved.
