Prayer Requests -
Sharing Needs and Celebrating Praises
Together |
| As Christians, we are called to "pray
continually" (1 Timothy 5:17). This means that the
Church, as a community of Christians, should foster an
environment of prayer. This page is an effort to
share some general requests with the entire church
family so that we may pray as a church for them.
If you would like a request added to this page please
feel free to contact Pastor Mark.

The World |
- Pray for those who have
been affected by the many types of natural disasters
in the past year, especially those in Haiti affected
by the earthquake that devastated their poor
country.

troubled world.
- Pray tht God would sustain
the world's economy.

protection on our nation.

leaders of our communities, our state, and our

- Pray for the elected and appointed
officials that they would uphold God's plan for
government. Pray that God's hand would be upon the
upcoming elections that candidates
with biblical world views would be elected to
office.
- Pray for the safety of the men and women
in uniform around the world, especially for those of
our church family who serve in this manner.
- Pray for those of the GARBC Chaplaincy
Ministries who minister to deployed men and women. http://baptistbulletin.org/.
- Pray for the pastors and churches across
America as they face the challenges of ministry in a
nation that is increasingly hostile towards
Christianity.

the financial needs of several church families who are
facing employment challenges in an uncertain
economical climate.

provide healing and comfort to several members of
our church family who face serious health issues.

their son Brendon serves our country. Pray for the
Swan family as Tim serves his
country.

students that their faith would remain
strong.
- Pray for Pastor Mark Wood
and his family, especially as their son
faces ongoing health
issues.
- Pray for our deacons and
their families.
- Pray that God would lead
as the church ministers in the community through Awana
Clubs.
- Pray that our ministry to
our community would reach people for Christ and bring
new families into our fellowship.
- Pray for God's blessing on
each of our church families, many of whom are
struggling with the challenges of
life.
- Pray that God would work
in the hearts of all those involved with the
refinancing of the church's mortgage and that God
would provide the additional money needed for the
downpayment. We praise God for what he has already
done.
